This Morgan silver dollar hobo coin is hand poured using the lost wax casting method where wax models are encased in plaster investment and then heated at high temperature in a kiln to remove the wax and produce a mold. A furnace is then used to heat 925 silver until molten so it can be poured in to the mold.
